FHI Heat Platform 1 Inch Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Styling Iron with Nano-Fuzeion Technology
I have very, very thick curly hair. Anytime I go to a different hair salon I’m told how thick my hair is – as if I don’t know! So when choosing on a new hair straightener I needed to do my research properly. Any old standard quality straightener won’t work on my hair, I need one that is guaranteed to have excellent results, for even a chance that it will work on my thick, curly hair. My old straightener was a CHI and I didn’t like what it did to my hair. Although it straightened well, it left my hair feeling really dry and it looked pretty lifeless. After reading lots of reviews and going back and forth between different straighteners I decided to try out this FHI Platform.
The FH1 works well. It straightens my hair and my hair looks shiny and full of life. This once scores high above my old CHI’s, for the simple fact that my straight hair looks healthier. This straightener also seems to lock in the straightness, so even on a humid day by hair stays straight. In fact I don’t even have to touch up my hair the next day. After being caught in the rain, surprisingly my hair didn’t jump out at all angles, it remained fairly straight. Full thumbs up!
The FH1 is very exciting. It only takes me 15 minutes to straighten my hair, which is much quicker than the time it took with my old CHI. This straightener is well worth the money and I recommend this straightener to anyone!

My wife loves this! We had an FHI in the past, which regrettably stopped functioning. It also had variable heat, which so many of the irons in this price range do not have. My wife says this one glides over her hair even more smoothly than the previous model. She finds the 1″ size to be the most flexible. Note that some other FHI models do not have variable heat, but the Platform series does. It gets very hot, and maintains that heat. She uses it on our eight year old daughter’s unprocessed hair to wonderful effect as well. Read Original Review

Ok I just received the FHI iron in the mail today, and I definitely have to say it works very well, my own hair stylist uses a iron similar to this one, it was one of the main reasons I wanted it, due to almost a week after getting my hair done it would begin to frizz. So I wanted to maintain my look in between getting my hair done. This was a very good price, on FHI’s official website its almost $200 plus shipping. Amazon’s price is better by far.
